2017 Brisbane Fashion Runway  (MC/Event Host)

“Jess is an extremely talented professional. We hired Jess to work with us as the official host and MC for our event, Brisbane Fashion Runway on November 3 2017 in Brisbane. Jess’s graceful nature, wit, charm, intelligence and fun personality shone through the entire evening and the audience was kept captivated. I had to give Jess minimal instructions, because she was extremely competent and able to understand what I wanted to achieve. I strongly recommend Jess for any event or project – you can rest assured whatever she does, she will do it with absolute professionalism. Plus, she is an absolute pleasure to deal with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!””

Jess became an RSPCA Queensland Ambassador in 2017 and is an absolute gem to have on board! She is always keen to assist the charity and goes above and beyond in her support of our animals, events and campaigns.

She has been an amazing advocate at our events and during on-site filming at our Adoption Centre. She is always professional, bubbly and a delight to work with. Jess always comes prepared to support various promotions, which makes our time together such a breeze!

Jess is outstanding in her role as MC as well. Our 10,000+ visitors at events enjoy Jess’ poise and clarity. She has recently supported our Big Adopt Out and Pop Up Adoption events in this capacity and will be continuing this role at our Gold Coast RSPCA Million Paws Walk and the Gold Coast Pet & Animal Expo in 2018 – we can’t wait! Jess also has assisted with our Live Streaming, created her own promotional videos for our promotions, and is a natural on camera. We are truly grateful to have Jess on board supporting the RSPCA.”

“Tradies” TV Series   (supporting role,  “Kathleen”)

“I directed Jess on a pilot of Tradies where she played a powerful & sassy Divorcee. She was extremely committed to her role, always asking questions and keen for instruction to refine her character. I would highly recommend Jess to anyone wanting a dedicated character actress who has a focus on perfection. I’m looking forward to working with her again as the show progresses.”

“Daimonion” SF   (lead role, “Layla”)

“Jessica played the lead character Layla in my short film Daimonion. With her passion, drive and dedication she brought the character alive and takes the audience on an engaging, enigmatic journey with her strong screen presence. Jessica was challenged phsycially and mentally when we were filming non-stop for two weeks overseas, while going through rough terrains and tortorous climate. She did not complain at all but pushed her boundaries further and further. She was an inspiration to work with and that helped me as the director to make a really unique film of which the outcome I’m so happy with, I’m taking it to numerous film festivals around the world.”

Australian Stunt Academy   (stunt training & assisting)

“I have known Jessica Stafford for approximately 2 years after she first completed one of our Stunt Workshops in FNQ.  Jessica returned after that workshop, to attend our 2 week professional Stunt Course at our headquarters on the Gold Coast, Australia.  She is so determined to be a success that she has been training constantly and regularly in a variety of skills, attending our advanced Stunt Course in Hollywood, and even came and took the 2 week course a second and third time, to hone her skills.  She is an exceptional actor which she has displayed in several action scenes where she gave outstanding performances. She is also very athletic and has developed many stunt skills, in particular, fireburns, martial arts and weapons.  I really enjoy working with Jessica, as she is always positive, safety conscious, friendly and encouraging to all those who work with her, making her a great part of any team.  I would highly recommend Jessica Stafford to any employer, stunt coordinator and casting director as an outstanding talent.”

“It’s Not You. It’s Bree.” TV Series   (supporting role, “Cass”)

Jessica Stafford was cast to play the role of the “nudist” Cass on my television series, It’s Not You. It’s Bree, set to air on Channel 31 in 2012. Throughout the 12 months spent filming the series, Jess was one of the members of the cast I could most depend on to be prepared and on set on time, always with a smile and a fantastic attitude. Not only was she a great asset to the cast and crew team, she played the role of Cass with a quirky and fun approach, I myself had not foreseen for the character but loved as soon as I saw what Jess had brought to the table. In what could be considered a difficult proposition (acting basically in the nude), Jess was able to do so whilst anchoring some of the most hilarious and odd moments of the series. She was truly a joy to work with. I would strongly recommend Jessica Stafford for any role you may be considering her for.
