Taurus World Stunt Awards 2017

It was a thrill to attend the Taurus World Stunt Awards with the Australian Stunt Academy & Anthony & Mary De Longis!

Held annually at Paramount Pictures Studios, the Taurus Awards is held to honour the world’s best stunt professionals that risk their lives to perform the most daring stunts that bring action and excitement to the movie-going public. Voted by Taurus members (Stunt Industry professionals), the awards are a huge honour to the movie industry’s “unsung” heros.

It was a special moment seeing fellow Australian Stunt Academy Graduate Toby Fuller receive an award with his team for “Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble” for Hacksaw Ridge & celebrating with our Principal, Colin Handley afterwards.  Very inspiring!

I was amazed at just how many people I recognised at the event from the introductions we had already made on our stunt course with Anthony & Colin so far.  It really was mind-blowing to be rubbing shoulders with some of the world’s coolest, craziest people!

I hope to make it back to another Taurus Awards soon!
